As 2018 comes to a close, amid all the hustle and bustle of this holiday season, let’s just take a moment.
Do not multitask. Just focus your attention on this brief message. Take five deep breaths, inhaling and exhaling slowly. Stretch your arms and legs and gently rotate your neck, sit up comfortably in your chair and relax.
Now, thinking about 2018, recall:
- three things for which you are grateful
- one thing that made you laugh out loud
- one thing that touched your heart
- one thing you want to remember always
- one thing you are ready to let go
Our past informs our future but does not define it. Choices made in each moment are powerful!
If you have been following my blog since April, how are you doing at building your Personal Positive Vocabulary? Are you reviewing the words you have noted for each letter? Have you added some and removed others? Remember that these are your words of empowerment and you can modify as needed to help you on your journey to the destination you have set.
If you have not yet read the blogs or have missed some, Getting Back to Basics will take you to all letters covered to date and Real People… An Alphabet Adventure is a handy sheet on which to jot down your personal positive words. In fact, this could be a fun project to introduce at chapter at the beginning of the year to keep everyone focused on the benefits of being our healthiest in mind, body and spirit. That is actually my wish for you in this coming year! You deserve to be your very best self.
