Realize, Recognize, Responsible, Review, Remember
We are all self-made men and women, but only the successful seem to take credit for it. There seems to be a lot of finger pointing, victimhood, blaming and expecting someone else to solve our problems when we aren’t succeeding. Each of us is responsible for what we do, don’t do and how we respond to what’s done to us.
Every day we are faced with, and make, numerous choices; some consciously, others unconsciously. Choices are at the root of every one of our results. Choose wisely, and success usually will follow. Choose poorly, and you just might find yourself having to make new, often harder, choices. Don’t choose at all, and you have made the choice to accept whatever comes your way!
Today, consider the choices you make. Do you choose to have soda, chips and a Twinkie and then wonder why you had a weight gain? Do you choose to watch two hours of television or space out on computer games instead of going for a brisk walk in the evening? We are all familiar with the phrase, “the choices you make, make you!” At the end of each day, review what choices you made. Do they help you realize your goals? Do you recognize areas where change is needed and take action? Remember, you ARE a self-made man or woman. It is all in the choices you make!

Yes, we are each responsible for the choices we make! It’s a great idea to review our choices at the end of each day. Self-awareness is essential for success in weight loss (and other endeavors).
