As the new Nutrition and Fitness Editor for TOPS, I’m really looking forward to sharing wellbeing tips and new recipes I hope you all will enjoy. I’ll 100% admit to being a foodie on — and off — the clock. I’ve been writing restaurant reviews and profiling food-based businesses for almost nine years. In addition, I still regularly create content for publications like The Spruce Eats, The Kitchen, Fabulous Wisconsin and The Gourmet Insider, while also juggling various roles in the fitness industry (group exercise instructor, trainer and occasional model) for almost a decade.
My life is certainly busy at times, but I genuinely adore living such a creative-fueled life. When I do have downtime, you’re most likely to find me running, reading or testing out new plant-based recipes. I became vegan in 2019 after deciding to do “Veganuary,” a month-long challenge originally started in the United Kingdom that happens in January. It’s now an annual event around the world — and one I thoroughly enjoy — since what began as a wellness experiment for me transitioned into a big dietary shift. This is an experience, I’m sure, many of you can relate to.
