I have been anxiously awaiting to share this refraction on the next chess term. The KNIGHT is a unique piece and is often referred to as a horse, which harkens back to medieval times.
The KNIGHT has the ability to move two squares in one direction and then one square at a right angle, landing on the opposite color from where it started. This action is described as an “L” shape move. Jumping over other pieces is allowed.

The means by which a KNIGHT can travel in an unpredictable and unexpected way relates well to my journey to a healthier lifestyle. It seems that I have to keep my DEVELOPMENT POSITION on high alert. Any wrong ACTIVITY can derail my progress.
It really caught my eye that a move by a KNIGHT is “L” shaped. Lose and Leeway start with the letter “L” and are some important words used in my battle with weight imbalance.
A KNIGHT is one of many pieces on a chessboard that has great versatility and tactical abilities. As I refract over both my pre-TOPS life and current TOPS life, it is amazing how many different tools were used to create one OPENING after another, trying to gain an ADVANTAGE against this dreaded disease of obesity.
Ben Franklin once said, “The problem of doing nothing is that you never know when you are done.”
There is much information out there when it comes to weight loss. Some is noise (snake oil), and some is the right information, but very confusing. I am glad that TOPS created a safe SPACE to figure out my next move. This way, I am not FORCED into doing something foolish. Any move you make on your journey to a healthier you is definitely better than not making any move at all. Of course, it helps first to get some good information.
Some of you may think that these blogs are a stretch of my imagination. You may wonder if I am missing a few marbles as I jump to different conclusions than yours, as I horse around to make bad puns and jokes. I remind you that losing weight is as serious and challenging as chess. However, it is OK to have a few laughs, and with that, I bid you good KNIGHT.

Good one! I know nothing about Chess but I like your use of the pieces to make a TOPS point and information.
