What may seem like two harmless little letters can lead to infinite possibility&#8230;or endless self-doubt. As we navigate our weight-loss journey, it can be easy to let \u201cif\u201d perpetuate the latter.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat if I can\u2019t do it?\u201d<br \/>\n\u201cWhat if everyone looks at me?\u201d<br \/>\n\u201cWhat if I fail?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>We can essentially let our brains \u201cwhat if\u201d us right out of taking that first step or trying something different and new.<\/p>\n<p>But what if (and here\u2019s where the infinite possibility part comes in) we used these two letters to tap into potential we didn\u2019t even know we possessed?<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat if I just try it?\u201d<br \/>\n\u201cWhat if everyone is really nice?\u201d<br \/>\n\u201cWhat if I succeed?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Part of why I love being involved with TOPS is hearing our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tops.org\/TOPS\/SuccessStories\">members\u2019 success stories<\/a>. Many members reflect on what their lives would be like if they hadn\u2019t taken that first step to better health. What if they had given up? What if they couldn\u2019t play with their kids or grandkids? What if they had to watch life pass them by?<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s easy to let \u201cif\u201d protect us from all of the things that could go wrong.
