That\u2019s part of why I\u2019m a fan of homemade smoothies. They\u2019re a blissfully simple and unfussy way to get loads of nutrients. After receiving a new blender as a gift (Best. Gift. Ever.), I\u2019ve been creating all kinds of concoctions, usually with some sort of <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.tops.org\/wellness-wednesday\/cool-off-with-a-healthy-smoothie\/\">frozen fruit<\/a>, oat or almond milk and a little protein powder. The below recipe is only three ingredients and a delicious way to cool down as the temps slowly climb up.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 scoop vanilla protein powder<\/li>\n<li>1 cup frozen pineapple chunks<\/li>\n<li>1 \u00bc cup oat milk<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Directions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Add all ingredients to blender and blend until smooth.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nutrition Information<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Per serving:<\/strong>\u00a0365 calories (78 from fat), 8.25 g total fat (3 g saturated fat), 80 mg cholesterol, 86 mg sodium, 39 g carbohydrates, 4 g fiber, 14 g sugar, 34 g protein.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Exchanges:<\/strong>\u00a01 fruit, 1\u00bd fat, 4 protein, 1 other carbs.<\/p>\n<p>Remember that you\u2019re welcome to modify this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tops.org\/tops\/tops\/Member\/recipes-of-the-month.aspx\">recipe<\/a> in a way that works best for you!
