But I\u2019ve noticed an encouraging shift toward movement that makes you feel good, feel energized, and maybe even have fun. And that\u2019s what I\u2019m choosing to focus on lately.<\/p>\n<p>Winter blahs, combined with nagging back pain and constant Peloton commercials, have contributed to my fitness motivation being at an all-time low. But, as I\u2019ve shared many times on this blog, <em><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.tops.org\/wellness-wednesday\/the-best-form-of-exercise-for-you\/\">any <\/a><\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.tops.org\/wellness-wednesday\/the-best-form-of-exercise-for-you\/\">type of movement<\/a> is better than nothing. And that\u2019s why I\u2019m sharing my personal 10-day movement plan this week. It won\u2019t blast fat or give me a flat stomach, but it will make me feel better, shake the winter blues, and get me out of the house.<\/p>\n<p>Day 1 \u2013 Take the dogs for a one-mile walk.<\/p>\n<p>Day 2 \u2013 Do a virtual <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.tops.org\/wellness-wednesday\/excuses-for-not-doing-yoga\/\">yoga<\/a> flow.<\/p>\n<p>Day 3 \u2013 Complete a 10-minute <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.tops.org\/wellness-wednesday\/workout-at-home-4-tips\/\">at-home workout<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Day 4 \u2013 Bring the dogs to a nearby park and toss a ball.<\/p>\n<p>Day 5 \u2013 Dust off the cross-country skis and find a nearby trail.<\/p>\n<p>Day 6 \u2013 Complete another virtual yoga practice, this time with a restorative flow.<\/p>\n<p>Day 7 \u2013 Get at least 8,000 steps.<\/p>\n<p>Day 8 \u2013 Attempt a guided meditation with deep breathing.<\/p>\n<p>Day 9 \u2013 Complete a 10-minute body weight-only workout.<\/p>\n<p>Day 10 \u2013 Go sledding with a friend and her kids (socially-distant, of course).<\/p>\n<p>If this inspires you in some small way to make your own similar plan, please feel free to share.
